Grammy award winner Jon Carroll kicks off the program with a discussion of the three-act structure in songwriting. Learn to tell a dramatic story with your songs by exploring how rhyming schemes and narrative methods in lyric-writing along with tactical musical arrangements can help elevate your songs to the next level. Then, work with owner Dan Prindle on the nuts and bolts of song structure and how chord progressions can help to create great songs. Wrap up the program with our lead engineer Nate Christy as you learn about how to take the song from idea to reality in the recording studio.
